Stranger Than Fiction

People have always believed that they control their own destiny. However Stranger Than Fiction questioned that belief. Harold Crick seem to have complete control over his life until his watch broke. He didn't realize first that perhaps everything he did was based off of the fate chosen for him. In actually we can't change our fate. We never could. We never had contro in the first place. I watched thisasainmovie the other day called Oldboy. This guy is kidnapped one day andplaced in a prison for 8 years. after he is realeased he seeks revenge. The whole movie you think" Wow, this guys so cool, he's got complete control over his mind and body and so much more." But in the end you find out that the whole time he was being brainwashed to do everything he did after the momentof his release, he found out that his whole life was a set up, and he went home feeling like a used fool. It was truly sad. However, he found out that the entire time he was nver really in control. Ever. That how it is with humans. Wemay think we make choices, but in actuality it was already chosen for us to make that choice.
